1- Ian has a track meet, won't be home until 9 ish
2- Orion has another event, won't arrive until after 8, possibly 8:30
3- Ben and Paul have an early Saturday morning, need to leave 10ish.
So, I think we need to start with a flashback, with multiple scenes, or a brief leap forward to another time when their were just a subset of the guys.
Then leap to the confrontation in the Library for about an hour of game once everyone is there.
a- What spell is the Abbot casting?
b- What part of the history of the parents should/could come out? How do we make them look bad again?
c- What adventure can I send the kids on? The stable scene is still there to be used

thief tries to get away
then he tells them some details (need those)
then he tells them they will be in trouble because the guild is up waiting for him to return
and they will start looking for him soon
geography - down the cliff and up the river is the town
up here on the cliff on this side of the mountain is the Abbey
Abbey is closer
then the ankheg's climb up the cliff
and the chase is on!

bats and rats trailing
WolfDucks trailing -nipping at them
once that gets rough, they break off
rush to abbey
as they approach the ground rumbles (or if they divert to the town)
Friar's rush out as they approach
Monster forms behind them, lumbers after them

low portal
first floor kitchen, hall, sleeping
second floor, office, spells
third floor, storage, more rooms, access to roof
